I don't think it was making paper. It's done with by swatting up brown paper bags (different sizes and shapes), then unwrapping them and using wallpaper paste to apply it to the walls. Question about a fetish-wear leather mask?
On a television programme the other day, a male character had a fetish for slapping womens' faces. His female partner wore a leather face mask strapped around her face. The mask was cut to protect her cheeks, cheekbones, nose, mouth and teeth while leaving her eyes and hair uncovered (places that wouldn't get slapped.) Her nose was protected by a gauze opening so that it was covered but wouldn't be cut or broken if slapped.
With the mask fitted, the woman was able to stand her ground and withstand a long slapping session which appeared to include dozens of hard slaps right on her face.

Making a leather mask and geting the materials for it.?
i plan on making my own leather mask, and i was wondering where i could get the proper materials i'll need.

you want real leather if you expect this thing to last longer than a couple of days. artificial leather just isn't strong enough yet. get the tough rivets and burrs (usually copper), not the cheap chrome rivets that just look like the studs on some 1960s jacket. you will also want a leather stitching awl and some waxed cord that is spooled for your awl. definitely be sure you have a pattern before you start. you should be able to find leather paint and/or leather dye at any larger leather wholesaler. macphearson's in seattle is a great for this kind of stuff. i am sure you can find a similar place where ever you are.Making a leather mask and geting the materials for it.?

My black-masked lovebird just died =( and I want to get another bird, what should I get?
Just recently, my black-masked love-bird died for no reason. We had been looking after him well, by cleaning his cage, giving him the occasional bath (When needed), giving him toys, playing with him, feeding him a variety of foods and checking for anything that may be wrong with him (Like mites).
So I'm wondering why he died (He was nearly one) and what can I get to replace him, because the cage is empty, and it makes me sad.
I would like a bird that is social, and kind of like him...but I don't want another love-bird because I'll be sad. What can you suggest and why?

You need to find the reason before you fill that cage. Think about this; Nonstick cookware, if over heated, sends off toxic fumes, kills birds.Cleaning products have strong killer fumes. Chocolate, apple seeds, avocado seed.

You definitely need to find out WHY your bird died before you get a new bird. Fumes of almost anything (teflon, bleach, other cleaners, self clean ovens), or coming in contact with chemicals could cause. Extreme heat or cold, being in a draft. Eating foods that aren't bird safe. Also as far as bathing goes most birds are content with a bowl of just room temp water. My conure loves to just jump in it and have fun getting it everywhere. If I don't give her a bowl, she'll just try to use her water bowl. I say give them the opportunity to bathe every day. It's important for feather/skin health.
That being said. I would pitch all the perches, toys, and anything else in the cage except food bowls and the cage itself. The cage itself I would clean using bleach or GSE. Clean it multiple times, and then rinse it multiple times and then rinse it some more. I'd also advise letting it air dry outside, then giving it one more rinse to be sure all the bleach is gone.
Knowing how small lovebirds are, if you're gonna use the same cage you have to keep it small. If you don't want another lovie, then I would definitely, definately look into parrotlets. These little guys are small, but act anything like it. They're great if you have to have a smaller parrot, but they have all the personality you could ever want. If parrotlets are a tad expensive then you can always go with a budgie.
If you can afford to go buy a new cage I would say consider a green cheek conure or a cockatiel. If you live in an apartment go with the cockatiel as they are quieter than the green cheek. Both are small parrots but are very loving and great birds to have.

You definitely need to find out WHY your bird died before you get a new bird. Fumes of almost anything (teflon, bleach, other cleaners, self clean ovens), or coming in contact with chemicals could cause. Extreme heat or cold, being in a draft. Eating foods that aren't bird safe. Also as far as bathing goes most birds are content with a bowl of just room temp water. My conure loves to just jump in it and have fun getting it everywhere. If I don't give her a bowl, she'll just try to use her water bowl. I say give them the opportunity to bathe every day. It's important for feather/skin health.
That being said. I would pitch all the perches, toys, and anything else in the cage except food bowls and the cage itself. The cage itself I would clean using bleach or GSE. Clean it multiple times, and then rinse it multiple times and then rinse it some more. I'd also advise letting it air dry outside, then giving it one more rinse to be sure all the bleach is gone.
Knowing how small lovebirds are, if you're gonna use the same cage you have to keep it small. If you don't want another lovie, then I would definitely, definately look into parrotlets. These little guys are small, but act anything like it. They're great if you have to have a smaller parrot, but they have all the personality you could ever want. If parrotlets are a tad expensive then you can always go with a budgie.
If you can afford to go buy a new cage I would say consider a green cheek conure or a cockatiel. If you live in an apartment go with the cockatiel as they are quieter than the green cheek. Both are small parrots but are very loving and great birds to have.
maybe you can get a parakeet. they can be very social, (i think) well, if you get used to them they can be social p.s i only know this cuse i want one

I breed as a hobby, and I am constantly hand feeding babies! Most breeders pull babies at 10 to 14 days unless there is a problem. You really don't want to pull them earlier because you want the parents to learn how to feed their babies, and when they are very tiny it is really hard to handfeed. Baby's should not be handled often when they are tiny and beaks are very soft and can be pushed over by syringes.
Some breeders choose to pull later at 3 weeks, it just depends on the breeder. I pull my babies at about 10 days, right when their eyes open. If I am busy with older babies and work then I pull at 10 days and band and then put them back in the box for another 5 to 10 days. recently my belovered peach-faced lovebird died.
in about 6 months i would like to hand raise another lovebird.
i am considering a black-masked lovebird, although i am not sure is they are as tame as a peach-face.
my peach face went every where with me (even the beach..haha) and after seeing how tame and affectionate my bird became, i am keen to get another.

I am asking this on behalf of my mum who has heard a rumour that a friend of a friend died recently when cleaning out his pigeon house. He wasn't wearing a protective mask and apparently breathed in some of the dust whilst cleaning, and it killed him. Now my mum is worrying because she owns a lot of chickens and is worried about breathing in anything harmful when cleaning out the coup. So all i want to know is, can she catch any harmful diseases when cleaning out her beloved chickens and if so, what diseases might they be? And is it wise to invest in a protective mask? Plus, there shouldn't be a lot to clean up if you do it regularly every week and the chickens have enough space, there shouldn't be enough poop in one place to kill you if you breathe it! Plus it goes straight from a pitchfork to a wheelbarrow, so It don't get near your face. lol

The egg mask has been around for sometime now. What you do is you whip up some raw egg whites and then apply it directly to your face. The egg whites are to brighten your face and give you a smoother complexion.

You will need to make some kind of an armature for the nose or it will collapse (or get too heavy). Using a wire that you can easily manipulate would be good, they sell that stuff in rolls or mesh sheets at arts stores. If you are crafty enough and are good at shaping things you may be able to cut the nose out of two pieces of very stiff paper creating a tent like structure and paper-mache over it.
I don't suggest using a flour and water mache recipe. It's harder to work with and will dry out as you're using it. Use plain old white glue watered down to a consistency that you are comfortable with (or at least add some glue to the flour mix). It will dry flexible, less likely to crack or chip paint off when you are finished.theatre

We all have a social mask that we wear this is the mask that we show to the world. It is a self protection against the things we don't want the world to know about us. I think you would find everyone acts differently out in public to how they are at home. Most of us don't want the world to know certain things about us because we probably feel they wouldn't like us. It is normal to feel a certain amount of you is not shown to the rest of the world.
At least you can pretend that you are always happy. We all wear masks, but some masks are better than others.
Keep wearing yours and spread happiness around you, regardless if you like it or not. The world needs more people like you.

It sounds like you are just not comfortable in your own skin. It sounds like the risk of perceived possible rejection causes you to act bubbly then later you feel even more distant and isolated and resent yourself for needing the approval of others at the expense of your own self-identity. This is normal when you are young and I can tell you it does get easier as you age. If you can learn to forgive yourself for not being perfect and come to accept yourself as a worthwhile person, then the need to put on the mask will fade. We all wear masks to some point and we all think people would not love us if they knew some of the things we thought or felt. Lose yourself in some worthwhile action serving others and you will find a self that you can like and admire. Even if you feel no better - the world will have been made better by your actions. I am just curious because after seeing his 619 DVD, I am kinda confused, we was not wearing it when he was around his old friends, or when he was getting out of the car at his house, however, he wore it when he got his 619 tattoo done. Has anybody in real life ever gotten a supersuit, mask,and gagdets, and decided to fight crime as a superhero?
The only real live superhero wearing a costume I know of was Captain Sticky. (He is since deceased.) His real name was Richard Allen Pesta and he was an attorney in California (his career and his location may have something to do with the fact that he did not end his days in a loony bin or jail.)
As Captain Sticky, Pesta used a gun that fired peanut butter and jelly. He also weighed 380 lbs, so he was not one of those very athletic heroes.
It's the sort of thing I am sure we all would like to have done, but let's face it: how many times have you ever actually SEEN a crime taking place...? And had enough time to change into a costume (which you wore all the time, under your street clothes) in time to stop it...? I just hope it wasn't too hot in the summer, or that people didn't notice you sweating all the time.
It sure would be nice to have super powers, but unless you have a support network like Batman and Oracle, and his unofficial relationship with the Gotham Police Department, you don't learn about much crime in time to stop it. The only heroes that would have a chance would be those with super senses, like Superman and Daredevil. Others would be relegated to gathering information, and we already have detectives. Hostage situations...? The police would probably tell them to stay out of the way and not interfere. The hero may be bulletproof, but the hostages aren't!

When I was a boy of 14/15 of age, I was very handsome, that was the reason, I believe, for my whole tragedy. I was sent by my parents to a Tution Teacher. The teacher, after her divorce, was living alone in my neighbouring rented villa with an old housemaid. One day the teacher found out a half-naked film star's photo from my book, believe me, still now I don't know how it came there. Showing this photo, the teacher started black-mailing me threatening that she would inform my dad, who was a strict Senior Police Officer. Gradually she started sexually abusing me. This continued for about 3 yrs, untill I went out-of-state for my higher studies. After my Commercial graduation, I joined in a Bank as a Credit Officer in my home-town. 2 months back I married an average, innocent, village girl, who knows only to love me. Now again the Teacher-the Vampire- appeared with a threat to disclose everything to my wife, unless I obey her as before. For God sakes you`re an adult now, how can you be threatened by a teacher who is the one guilty of sexually molesting a minor. Actually you are a threat to her as you should report her for her earlier misconduct. Tell your wife by all means, after all, were you not a minor when you were taken advantage of. Your wife should be able to understand and stand by your side in reporting the teacher to the police. It was she who committed the crime, not you.

So if I play an ivory mask, it's a white enchantment, costs 4 mana, and makes it so that I can't be the target of spells or abilities.

The combo- While judge of currents is out, it's ability says that I gain 1 life whenever a merfolk creature is untapped. Now I use either imagecrafter or mistform mask to change the creature type of aphetto alchemist to a merfolk until end of turn. Now since aphetto alchemist is now a merfolk, he also has an ability where you tap him and you untap target artifact or creature. Allyou have to do is use aphetto alchemist's ability to tap himself and since you choose target creature to untap, you can untap the aphetto alchemist right after you tap him. SInce he is a merfolk and judge of currents is in play I gain one life whenever the aphetto alchemist is untapped. (Pretty sweet huh?) he taps and untaps himself, I can do this however many times I want, This is an infinite life combo. Then I usually use a *test of endurance* which is an enchantment that says at the beggining of my upkeep if I have 50 life or more I win the game. (Yeah...I love this combo)

I'm a man who has many scars on his face, and i don't have enough money for surgery, althoguh some doctors told me that i might not be the same, lots of damage.
Anyway, i can't go out in daytime, only after mednight, i know that i scare people, so that's why i wear a white mask, but it still creepy, it's diffecult but i still try to get use to it.
So i was wondering if i would meet someone who can be my friend, i don't ask for love because i know that won't happen.
Also i don't want to hang hopes on that surgery.
Is it okay to be a friend with faceless guy? someone who doesn't have a face?

And, if the scars really are that bad, i would just wear an appropriate mask, don't wear one that will creep people out just one that people can tell it's a medical condition, think Grey colors and cotton or something. you could make or have someone make some for you even, maybe even get the high fashion designers to make some for your - i bet they would love to design some fashion masks for you :) Make sure you get plenty of exercise everyday, drink lots of water, and don't sweat the mask,- it's your personality that people like or don't like, so work on being you :)

Its an actual face made of thin rubber and looks really natural and pleasant and you just put it on when your're going out and no one has to know the difference. Problem is that most people comes with their own cultural mindset and think that it is impossible for a woman to want to be in abaya by herself. In the same way some muslim woman think that western woman chose to expose her body just because of pressure from society and envoronment created by media. They feel that woman are just an object of public entertainment in the west.
I as a muslim always gave option for my wife to open her face if she wants which she refuse. And reason was not really religion, but she is brought up that way and she gets uncomfortable when she feels that men can stare at her.

There is a Mosque down the road from me. The local ';spiritual leader'; compared Australian women who do not wear the hijab as ';uncovered raw meat left out in the street'; ~ or something. He is a vile man, truth me known and doesn't belong here if he continues to make such inflammatory statements.

At first you are forced, then when it happens often enough it becomes a social norm and you start to accept it as a way of life and then later you even embrace it.

OK the ';ninja mask'; is called a nikab ..abaya ....and its really culture and not religion...they aren't required in Islam to cover their face...but know that some Muslims don't even wear scarves and dress in jeans and a skirt...its not all of them that wear it some wear a skirt shirt and a scarf or pants shirt and a scarf ...I know because I'm Muslim ;)

I want to say it depends on the person and how well the mask fits. It the mask is remotely loose then, it is easier to see it. By this I mean let's say you are lying to someone, and normally you don't lie, then people will be able to see write through you. Yet, if the mask fits, then one can be a chameleon, and play as many roles as he or she pleases. There are many people who fit this mold, and that is why many people duped. I just started welding School and 1st day welding I had the hardest time seeing where I was going..it was so dark..I am thinking I need a new Helmet..this is something I am going to be doing for a long time and would like to buy ONE...So I wana make sure its a good one...thanxs!

If you are just starting out I would just go and buy a bunch of different lenses of different shades from # 9 to # 14. That way you can change it as you change amperage. It is not worth the extra cost starting out to get a good auto darkening hood. If you still insist on getting an auto hood the Speedglas hood is a great hood. I have had one for 20 years now and it still works great (I have 3 now). They cost a lot but they were the first to invent the auto hood. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en鈥?/a> . They are the Cadillac of hoods. You can look online for who sells it the cheapest. http://www.cyberweld.com/ Is a good place to start. Miller, Jackson, and the other ';name brand'; hoods are good. Any quality hood will last a lifetime if you take care of it. Fiber Metal and Jackson are popular brands and all of the top welding manufacturers offer hoods as well. Your problem is not the hood, however, it's the lens. It is dirty or too dark. Most schools prefer lenses a shade or two dark for extra protection. Depending on the school guidelines you can use a no. 4 or five for gas welding and a no. nine or ten for light arc welding. Heavier rods or specialty work such as air arc or some gas shield welding will require darker lens. Don't neglect to keep the protective clear lens clean or changed as well.
One more thing lot of new welders don't know. If you wear prescription glasses, its better to get a lens for your hood that matches your glasses prescription. Its much better than wearing eyeglasses under a hood.

my friend told me that is was something that happens episode III. So what happend to darth vader or anakin skywalker that made him have to wear that mask in order to live also why is he like half robot? is it the same reason?Why does darth vader wear the life support mask and armor/suit?
While battling Obi-Wan Kenobi on the lava planet Mustafar, Anakin lost to Obi-Wan and incedently lost all of his limbs except for one arm and landed very close to a lava pit. In the movie, he layed near the bit and burned up. In my encyclopedia, he was actually cast into the pit but immediatly brought out by Obi Wan. Either way, he was a fraction of a human. The Emperor, fearing he would lose his precious aprentice, put Darth Vader into a health capsule, took him back to coruscant and immediatly began surgery. Most of his body was replace with robotics and the suit is neccessary to keep the mechanics functioning. Where as he no longer has working lungs, the respiratory now breaths for him.Why does darth vader wear the life support mask and armor/suit?
In Episode III:Revenge of the Sith, Anakin turns to the dark side. Senator Paplatine convinces Anakin, during a battle with Mace Windu, to turn to the dark side to save Padme. Ani had a dream that she would die, just as he did in Episode II:Attack of the Clones with his mother. So, he and the Senator get together and overthrow the Republic, forming the 1st Galactic Empire. In order to do this, all Jedi must be killed. So Padme gets concerned about Anakin, because Obi-Wan told her what was happening, but she didn't believe him. When she arrives on the planet(I forget which one), with Obi-Wan on the ship(she didn't know he was there), she discovers the truth. Then, Obi-Wan emerges, and Anakin precedes to fight him, after almost killing Padme for not wanting to be with him anymore. Anakin and Obi-wan fight fiercely, until Obi-Wan wins, and cuts off Anakin's arm. He falls to the ground, which is rising up in lava, and gets burned to a crisp. The Senator, now called Darth Sidiuos, finds Anakin and saves him.
*He is named Darth Vader after the Senator and Anakin kill Mace Windu and Anakin offically turns to the Dark Side.
the dark side just messed him up. he never should have turned. in episode 3 he was severly burned and that was probably it and some of his limbs were machinery. the new movies weren't that good but the old ones are my favorite movies of all time they're awesome!

when Anakin fails to jump over Obi-wan in their fight, Obi-wan cuts off his legs, and sends Anakin slidoing down and into the firey path of lava.
the lava catches Anakin on fire and no one is willing to stop it.
The damage done is so severe that neither his lungs or his skin can live normally.
The armor was two fold: Protection, and to hide the skin bellow.
the helmet-breathing system was the only way he could live.
Remember in Jedi when he said if the helmet was removed he would die?
thats why..
his lungs could not work alone
In their last fight, Obi-Wan ends up cutting off his legs and good arm, and then he catches fire and burns and is near death before the Emporer finds him, takes him to the hospital where they make the Vader suit for him.
Ok, so he got like..two of his arms chopped off by Obe Wan. And then his legs got caught in lava and his legs got burnt off. So that's basically why he's 1/2 robot. You'd have to see the movie, but yeah he's basically just all nubs. But it's good, definitely see the movie. Watch all [:

Yep.
It took nearly thirty minutes.
But it was a really great fight.
Like Sasuke and Naruto in that one episode...er...nevermind.
Well, they're fighting on this big lava-y planet.
And Obi-Wan's a really great Jedi.
So he cuts off Anakin's other arm
[Anakin had his other arm chopped off by Count Duku in episode two]
and legs.
And Anakin falls near the lava and gets all burnt all over his body.
I was sad.
But at least it wasn't Obi-Wan.

I highly recommend doing make-up instead of mask for any clown look. Just copy the style/pattern onto your face. Masks are only really good for photo or video shoots. They're not practical at all for wear in an environment where one must function. Even half masks that cover the eye area can still be too cumbersome. I may be wrong, but try the make-up and see for yourself. It's cheap and easy.

i am guessing you mean people stop putting on the fronts that they do, it will never happen people use these things for self promotion and self preservation and protection. you would basically end up with a bunch of people sitting on the couch too paralyzed by fear and the continuous assault of exposing their hearts to the entire world constantly to function in society. obviously i think people need the masks, also nobody is just ONE thing to all the people in their lives..you can be a ceo thats tough and smart and driven, but when its time to be the husband and the daddy acting the same way will only alienate the people you love, therefore one self wouldn't suit all the people you need to be.What would happen,if people havnt put any mask in real life?
There would be a lot less nasty surprises in life. Maybe living in a guileless world would expose our vulnerabilities enough so that we would care more about another person's needs and/or feelings aside from our own....

In a way it is dumb. If you were truly a Super Hero the pentagon would grab you up and take you apart to try to figure out how to make a regiment or division of superheros.

The life mask is a plaster copy of the mold taken during the filming of Thriller. He is my biggest inspiration. Now for American Idol...it is serious for me because I've worked hard for it. But should I bring this life mask to the first set of auditions tomorrow? (It is painted gold and has a hook on the back if I wanted to attach a chain to it...see pic). This will lead them to think of me more as a gimmick person, but like Tatiana Del Toro she was both a gimmick and good singer. I really want to get to Paula, Randy, Simon, and Kara....do you personally think that this crazy (yet awesome) mask will help me get there?

the normal people live their lives and the police stop the abnormal people from committing crimes and the judges send the abnorml people to jail.
now if people tried to take the law into their own hands it would result in chaos because the criminals are just stopped but not put in jail where they belong.

Yes! I think so. Most work environments already force certain rules and regulation to keep the peace and keep it PC. Dress codes is the first thing. I don't think that 90% of the people at my work think that their dress clothes represents who they are and how they feel. A lot of places will make you cover tattoos too. When it comes to friends, it's true too. We all let our guards down a little, but there are still things we don't do or say in front of our friends. Especially women, think about it ladies, if you're home and for some reason your boob itches you're gonna scratch it, but in public we have certain things we're taught what to do or not do and how to behave. (weird example, i know, but you're catching my point) Or how about when you're driving in your car and your favorite song comes on, guys do the fake electric guitar thing all out, that would make most people laugh. I sing my heart out whether it's on key or not. But I wouldn't do that with even my sister in the car...

I'm not Muslim but work with a few Muslim woman, they wear the veil in public because they choose to. They are also well adjusted confident happy individuals.
On the other hand I know of non muslim women who are downtrodden and victims of domestic violence.
They actually did a poll of Muslim Women and asked them many questions about their faith and culture...and pretty much across the board the women wouldn't want it any other way.
Why? Because the ';other'; option looks like an American way of life...and they felt that that was not good. Not with the body image we try to impose on women, not with the lack of faith and religion in our daily lives.
They are a culture of faith....and their faith is interwoven in their daily lives. Is it controlling? Yes, to a good sense of the word, but it comes down to culture and heritage.
Do I consider it acceptable? Who am I to say they are wrong? My wife and I definitely do not have those same sets of rules...but then again who are they to say that my way is wrong? We cannot say they are wrong because we don't live in that culture...and I have never experienced it...thus I cannot condemn it.

However, Muslim women can sometimes get exasperated with their husbands (but who doesn't?). I remember once hearing a Muslim mother at my sons' school complaining to her friend that she had asked her husband if she could wear a skirt, as it was so hot (trousers are considered more modest). He said no, but she could wear shorts if she wanted to. As the woman pointed out in exasperation, the shorts that her husband had said she could wear were a lot more revealing than the skirt she had wanted to wear, but because the shorts were officialy 'trousers' they were okay, whereas the skirt wasn't.
That assumes that the husband is 'controlling' and that she wears a mask.
None of the wives of muslims I know wear masks.
