His female partner wore a leather face mask strapped around her face. The mask was cut to protect her cheeks, cheekbones, nose, mouth and teeth while leaving her eyes and hair uncovered (places that wouldn't get slapped.) Her nose was protected by a gauze opening so that it was covered but wouldn't be cut or broken if slapped.

With the mask fitted, the woman was able to stand her ground and withstand a long slapping session which appeared to include dozens of hard slaps right on her face.

Firstly, do such masks really exist?

Secondly, would a male with a face slapping fetish find it exciting to slap a girl if she was masked?wihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13788408112770637599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4278257025632861998.post-26528244968428348902009-12-21T21:25:00.002-08:002009-12-21T21:25:40.272-08:00Making a leather mask and geting the materials for it.?i plan on making my own leather mask, and i was wondering where i could get the proper materials i'll need.

i have sewing experience, but i'm not sure what to stitch with. the mask it self will end up rough and grotesque looking. here's an example of a mask that is made up of the materials i'd like to us: http://www.maskarts.com/mankindtwins2.jp鈥?/a> (my mask will look nothing like that, but you should get the idea)

So I basically need to know what to get and where to get:

1) Leather material. I'd prefer thick ';fake leather';, but if real cow leather is ';better'; i can go with that.

2) Something to stitch it together with

3) Paint that wont damage the leather (i'd prefer a type of spray paint if it exists)

Getting a mask custom made is far too expensive for the type of mask that i want, so thats is 100% out of the question. If there is how ever a silicone or leather ';mask base'; out there, that'd be great. or maybe someone could suggest other materials to replace or add onto the ones i listed, i just need my mask to have that certain look and also be very sturdy. thanks in advanceMaking a leather mask and geting the materials for it.?
you want real leather if you expect this thing to last longer than a couple of days. artificial leather just isn't strong enough yet. get the tough rivets and burrs (usually copper), not the cheap chrome rivets that just look like the studs on some 1960s jacket. you will also want a leather stitching awl and some waxed cord that is spooled for your awl. definitely be sure you have a pattern before you start. you should be able to find leather paint and/or leather dye at any larger leather wholesaler. macphearson's in seattle is a great for this kind of stuff. i am sure you can find a similar place where ever you are.Making a leather mask and geting the materials for it.?
A place like this'll have everything you need:

http://tandyleatherfactory.com/

There's a store locator on the web site, to find a store near you, unless you want to order by mail.

You could sew it together:

http://tandyleatherfactory.com/products.鈥?/a>

or you could rivet it together.
theatre
wihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13788408112770637599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4278257025632861998.post-24389224319679771642009-12-21T21:25:00.001-08:002009-12-21T21:25:23.475-08:00Poll: Are you wearing one of those weird black leather masks with a zipper on the mouth?Sour Girl wants to know.Poll: Are you wearing one of those weird black leather masks with a zipper on the mouth?
I am, I got it from you mom!

I GOT IT FROM YOU!Poll: Are you wearing one of those weird black leather masks with a zipper on the mouth?
I knew this would come up eventually.

When I was leaving a job, some of my colleagues presented me with a homemade gimp mask. We had been looking after him well, by cleaning his cage, giving him the occasional bath (When needed), giving him toys, playing with him, feeding him a variety of foods and checking for anything that may be wrong with him (Like mites).

So I'm wondering why he died (He was nearly one) and what can I get to replace him, because the cage is empty, and it makes me sad.

I would like a bird that is social, and kind of like him...but I don't want another love-bird because I'll be sad. What can you suggest and why?

Thanks =) Your answers will be much appreciated. My black-masked lovebird just died =( and I want to get another bird, what should I get?
You need to find the reason before you fill that cage. Think about this; Nonstick cookware, if over heated, sends off toxic fumes, kills birds.Cleaning products have strong killer fumes. Chocolate, apple seeds, avocado seed.

Bleach is real bad, Pine cleaners, some plants, Being in a draft. or over heated. They like to bath at least once a day some even more. Make sure the food is fresh. My black-masked lovebird just died =( and I want to get another bird, what should I get?
You definitely need to find out WHY your bird died before you get a new bird. Fumes of almost anything (teflon, bleach, other cleaners, self clean ovens), or coming in contact with chemicals could cause. Extreme heat or cold, being in a draft. Eating foods that aren't bird safe. Also as far as bathing goes most birds are content with a bowl of just room temp water. My conure loves to just jump in it and have fun getting it everywhere. If I don't give her a bowl, she'll just try to use her water bowl. I say give them the opportunity to bathe every day. It's important for feather/skin health.

That being said. I would pitch all the perches, toys, and anything else in the cage except food bowls and the cage itself. The cage itself I would clean using bleach or GSE. Clean it multiple times, and then rinse it multiple times and then rinse it some more. I'd also advise letting it air dry outside, then giving it one more rinse to be sure all the bleach is gone.

Knowing how small lovebirds are, if you're gonna use the same cage you have to keep it small. If you don't want another lovie, then I would definitely, definately look into parrotlets. These little guys are small, but act anything like it. They're great if you have to have a smaller parrot, but they have all the personality you could ever want. If parrotlets are a tad expensive then you can always go with a budgie.

If you can afford to go buy a new cage I would say consider a green cheek conure or a cockatiel. If you live in an apartment go with the cockatiel as they are quieter than the green cheek. Both are small parrots but are very loving and great birds to have.
maybe you can get a parakeet. they can be very social, (i think) well, if you get used to them they can be social p.s i only know this cuse i want onewihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13788408112770637599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4278257025632861998.post-68997997026321022032009-12-21T21:20:00.001-08:002009-12-21T21:20:24.961-08:00Can masked love birds from same clutch breed?im getting my nephew a pair of love birds for xmas he has already got finches and cockateials but he has wanted love birds for about a year so I'm getting him sum but i think he was planning on trying to breed them but can 2 birds from same clutch breed or will chicks come out a bit backwards so to speackwihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13788408112770637599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4278257025632861998.post-77933678879564013312009-12-21T21:20:00.000-08:002009-12-21T21:20:06.051-08:00Where can I get the Chiodos bird and rat costume masks?I want to get the masks from the Baby you wouldn't last a minute on the creek video by Chiodos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg1dF4TpI0k

picture- http://www.singingfool.com/photos/995/041811_42.jpg

I really wanna do this for Halloween and it is very hard to find these masksor something VERY close to it, any help?Where can I get the Chiodos bird and rat costume masks?
you can probably make them, with like glue and newspaper.wihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13788408112770637599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4278257025632861998.post-57870989901992085932009-12-21T21:19:00.003-08:002009-12-21T21:19:54.287-08:00I have black masked love birds that has had 4 eggs when they hatch when can i pull them to start handfeeding?i have a total of 6 lovebirds this is all new to me i have read several books but still need a little help with them being healthy and happy thank youI have black masked love birds that has had 4 eggs when they hatch when can i pull them to start handfeeding?
I breed as a hobby, and I am constantly hand feeding babies! Most breeders pull babies at 10 to 14 days unless there is a problem. You really don't want to pull them earlier because you want the parents to learn how to feed their babies, and when they are very tiny it is really hard to handfeed. Baby's should not be handled often when they are tiny and beaks are very soft and can be pushed over by syringes.

Some breeders choose to pull later at 3 weeks, it just depends on the breeder. I pull my babies at about 10 days, right when their eyes open. If I am busy with older babies and work then I pull at 10 days and band and then put them back in the box for another 5 to 10 days. The longer you do it, it will all start to come to you and you will develop your own routine.I have black masked love birds that has had 4 eggs when they hatch when can i pull them to start handfeeding?
I have a pair of Lovebirds that hatched 5 babies. 3 we're born a week before the last two. The first 3 being larger crushed one of the new babies and the other was about dead. I took the little one and hand fed it myself. All I could fine about feeding them were at that age 6 to 8 drops of food. I couldn't find anything else and I ask here and no one helped. I learned on my own. After the baby reached the age of 2 weeks he was big enough to go back to mom and dad and they are still taking care of him.

But to answer your question you don't have to take them to hand feed them just to make them loving. All of our babies have remained with the parent birds. I take them out now that they have a small amount of feathers and hold them. They are already use to me. Just spending time with them will do the trick. I have raise Cockatiels and I do this with them. All of our Cockatiels are loving to anyone that comes over. Proof you don't have to hand feed them to make them tame.

Keep a close eye on them to make sure they are all getting their share of food. If not you might have to help.
Hi,

You can feed them whenever you feel comfortable with :) I personally prefer two weeks, there not as small, or too big, and its a good age. But you can feed them when they are younger, its just a little bit more scary and hard to do.wihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13788408112770637599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4278257025632861998.post-42326857456934895662009-12-21T21:19:00.002-08:002009-12-21T21:19:35.383-08:00Where can I sell my black masked face love birds?I have a set of two love birds and I would like to sell them because I am moving into a new apartment where pets are not allowed.Where can I sell my black masked face love birds?
Put a ad in your local newspaper.
