I am looking for information on how to water harden leather without shrinking it too much or any other methods of hardening leather. You need VEGETABLE tanned leather (such as you'd use for belts/wallets) as opposed to CHROME tanned (garment leather).
Soak the leather, apply it to a form, shaping it. Allow to dry, and it will retain it's shape.
