Paper mashay donkey head/mask,help?

I need an idea for a donkey head (nose and mouth part ONLY)


I was thinknig of using a water bottle.


But does anyone else have another idea?Paper mashay donkey head/mask,help?

How about a wire frame or a cardboard frame. Cut the shape and glue it together dry it overnight. Wrap in cling wrap then start paper mache it with newspaper strips or triangles ( you cut the newspaper into triangle strips) until you get five layers on it. allow it to dry overnight than with good sharp knife cut it lenght wise from one end to the other put it off the frame, reassemble it and paper mache it again until five layer are formed. Dry overnight. add what shape you want to by Paper mache it again shaping the paper and re layer it five times and dry overnight. for rough shaping the paint it , for a finer and smoother look sand it with 50 grit sand paper. Paint it dry over night sand it again with 100 grit all over it until smooth ,brush off the sanding dust from the object, repaint the object again. dry overnight sand it again with 200 grit sandpaper until smooth repaint. Dry overnight, paint the eyes and the mouth and your done. If this is going on your head be sure to cut some holes for the eyes and nose so you can see and breathe
