ok how do i tell the difference in tone when im singing im singing one song that is in my head voice and another thats more of a belt, thats supposed to be placed in my mask. how do i tell please helpMask placement vs head voice fast please!!!?
i've heard that you should ';feel'; your voice vibrating behind your eyes and nose area.
otherwise you can try visualizing your voice going up through your cords, then up passed behind your nose and then back down through your mouth.
just make sure that when you sing, you can do so even while you're holding your nose shut. otherwise you're singing through your nose!
oh and a problem that i'm having is holding my tongue back while singing, which makes a poor sounding ';ee';
are you learning italian art songs or what?
I'm learning art songs, but love singing jazz. what a combo, huh?
