He loves Nemo and Woody from Toy Story and Builder Bob....but I can't figure out a good costume that doesn't even SOMETHING being on his head or face. Please help!I need halloween costume ideas for my 2-yr. old son who will not wear a hat, mask or anything on his head/face
he could be woody or bob the builder just forget about the head wear. that's what we did with my cousin because he said he couldn't see with the mask.I need halloween costume ideas for my 2-yr. old son who will not wear a hat, mask or anything on his head/face
Mine did that last year hes now three we dressed him as a cowboy and let the hat dangle from his neck down his back he seemed not to notice that as much as a mask
Think outside the box and concentrate on outfit. If he likes Woody, dress him up as a cowboy...just don't wear a hat...or he can hold one...or make it his treat bag. Use bandana, jeans, cowboy shirt....paint freckles on cheeks with eyeliner.
Once he's excited about being someone...and he sees other kids dressed up ...he'll get into it too.
Good luck
how about a pink bunny!
does he like balloons? dress him in puple and blow up balloons and put them all over his cloths and make him a bunch of grapes.
Make him one of the crayons. Dress him in all one color.
Or you could make him a team fan if you have a favorite football of basketball team dress him in all the gear.with the excepion of the head and face thing.
Try a black bin bag cut out holes for arms and head its cheep and its just like wearing a top but put clothes on him first we dont want him freezing and you could stick thing on it like spiders and webs
My kids would not tolerate anything on their head or makeup on their face at that age. They still got more candy then kids older then them.Everyone knows that most 2yr olds hate anything on their head.
bob the builder with a cool tool belt, it'll be like a present to with the new toy tools
Would he wear face paint?
Otherwise, just have him wear the costome with out the hat. If he's only 2, he doesn't care if he looks perfect, as long as he's having fun! But if you go out trick-or-treating, I would carry along the head/face/hat of the costume in case he changes his mind about wearing it, which he might after he sees all the other kids in their full get-up.
Hmm.. another thought: If he were someone like Bob or Woody, they have hats. He could use the hat to carry candy. Otherwise, put a string on the Woody hat and it can hang behind him on his back, so he would still be in full costume.
Im not sure if your wanting to buy or not. If so, Walmart has some really cute superman pjs with the cape attatched for about $10, this way he can wear them all winter.
If on the other hand you just want to use what you may have around the house try a little guy from the 50s with slicked hair, white tshirt, jeans tight on the bottom and a leather, jean or ';letter';jacket. Maybe a scaracrow flannel shirt, old pants ripped, with some straw hanging out, old shoes and some cute smudges on his face. A football player.
My son is a bit pudgy so he is going to be a snowman or the michilan guy, whatever he looks like when we leave.
Good luck and Happy Halloween
What about Spongebob? My friend and I were thinking about this one. Go the grocery store and get a paper bag, can of yellow spray paint and some brown paint. Cut out a hole in the bottom of the bag for the head and one on each side for the arms. Then paint the bag yellow. After it's dried, take a small paint brush and paint some brown circles and just paint ';spongbob's'; shirt and tie.
Good luck!
Let him just wear the costume how he wants to wear it. It's no big deal.
well get him dressed up in what ever u chose and then paint his face and tell him hell get lots and lots of sweeties if he lets you do it . good luck
What about a skelleton... a black outfit with glowing bones on it.
just dont dress him up
My son is 18 mo. and I'm gonna dress him like a train engineer- striped overalls and red bandana. I am going to try to get a hat although like your son, I doubt if he wears it. Then when halloween is over he will still have a cute pair of overalls! I got mine off of ebay because they are sorta hard to find. Good Luck, I'm sure he will cute however he is dressed!
Paint a rectangular box in brick red. Cut a hole in the top for his head - two in the side for his arms and leave the bottom open. This way he can be Bob the Builders Brick - to help mend wendy's house. The same method can be done to make a dice - oxo cube - etc.
Hi, my sisters son has sensory issues, and does not like tight clothing or anything on his head. I suggested to her last year when he was 3- go to walmart buy a pair of pj's that are striped like a baseball uniform- so he is just wear comfortable pj's.
Last winter I found a size 2t 2 piece superman outfit for my son. It was a blue sweat shirt with the superman decal on it, and blue sweat pants . The sweat pants had a red cape that was attached with velcro.
But for halloween last year I went to babysrus, and found a 2 piece red sweat shirt/sweat pants outfit that said ';Little Devil on it';. It had a hood but my son would just take it off. I got a lot of use out of it as a play outfit too, now I am using it for pj's.
hope it helps.
